RUNNING A CONTROL TEST
A Quality Assurance Program is a standard requirement of all medical laboratories. As you use your BioScanner 2000  cholesterol machines in your home, it is recommended that you should follow the guidelines set up for clinical laboratories. Some of the standards include running a Control Test when the following circumstances occur:

In a formal Quality Assurance Program, controls are run, and results are recorded and reviewed to help spot trends and significant changes.

Note: A control is run the same way that blood is tested. Instead of a drop of blood, a drop of control is placed on the strip. (See "Doing a Test".) The expected control ranges are provided with each package of control solution.
