BATTERY USE & REPLACEMENT
The Batteries
The BioScanner2000 cholesterol monitor requires two (2) AAA batteries. To install or
replace the batteries, see below.
Note: Your batteries will have a longer life due to BioScanner2000 automatic shut-down feature. Your BioScanner2000 will automatically turn off after two minutes of non-use (after the test-strip is removed).
When to Replace the Batteries
When the battery begins to lose energy, a message will appear across
the top of the display screen reading BATTERY LOW. When this
message appears, the unit will continue to work for a short time, until
the message changes to CHANGE BATTERY. At this time, you will
have to replace the batteries, because the instrument will not allow
you to continue until you install new batteries.
WARNING! Keep batteries out of reach of children. Some of the contents of the batteries are poisonous and could cause serious injuries. If swallowed, immediately contact physician or your local Poison Control Center.
